REPAIR FAQ Repair 1.Q I have a broken statue. I know there are some pieces missing. Can you repair this? A Yes! I can fill in the missing parts in statuary and figurines with the same techniques I use on broken frames. Color and texture can be replicated and by the time I've finished, the repairs will be nearly invisible. 2.Q What do you mean by nearly invisible? A By this I mean to say that in all probability, only YOU will know where the piece has been repaired, and only if you really look! 3.Q If you fix my beloved ceramic mug, will it still be safe for me to use for hot tea? A Probably not. To be on the safe side, I would retire this mug from active tea duty and let it hold pencils or flowers. 4.Q How do you determine the charge for repair work? All you seem to be using is some glue and some paint. A You're correct in assuming that the cost of my repair materials is usually negligible. My key factor is TIME. Minutes or hours, I keep track of the time it takes to do your job and charge accordingly. And I have never had enough nerve to overcharge anyone, even when I probably should have on particularly tough projects. 5.Q If you repaint my lamp, can you do anything to update or change the shade? A Yes! Lamp shades can be painted, textured, or covered with handmade paper and trims. You will be amazed at the transformation! 6.Q OK, now my lamp looks terrific but can you do the rewiring? A In a word, NO! I will not take any chances with my minuscule knowledge of electricity to put your home at a fire risk.
