REPAIR Repair FAQ You have my cats to thank for the expertise I have developed in the field of repair of statuary, figurines, lamps, china, etc. I have lived with one or more cats all of my life and I have also always been quite a collector of knick-knacks. For some strange reason (hmmm) many items in my collection have become broken over the years and I have consequently learned many repair techniques. If your life is plagued by reckless cats or dogs or kids (or if you yourself are a butterfingers) - do not despair! Bring your treasure to me and I will give it my best. It may never be worth the big bucks on Antiques Roadshow but it will live another day to be admired in your house. Also in the REPAIR category is your option to have your items refinished in new colors. This is especially helpful for lamps. You redecorate a room and even though you love the lamp, it no longer matches your decor. Bring it to me! State of the Art is pretty small, but we have been known to refinish small pieces of furniture such as dressing tables, chests and cabinets. If it fits in your car, it will probably fit in our shop. Call first with a description to be on the safe side.
