Pet Art FAQ

Q.  I have a shoe box filled with great photos of my cat!  I would like to frame some of them but they are really only snapshots.  What would you suggest?

A.  Here is where an Alphabet Mat would be the ideal solution.  Pick an appropriate mat color and your cat's name will be cut into this mat as window openings, behind which the snapshots can be arranged into a pleasing collage.

Q.  How can I take better pictures of my pet?  Do you have any tips?

A.  I have found the digital camera to be ideal for pet photography.  The flash makes no sound (old flash units used to whine) so your pet is less likely to be scared.  The "zoom" feature is also marvelous - don't forget to use it!

If you have a black or dark colored animal and you are taking photos in strong sunlight, don't be afraid to utilize your flash as this will bring out details and eliminate shadows.

So zoom in and keep shooting!  You are bound to capture some fascinating photos this way - and with a digital camera, mistakes are easy to delete.  No more wasted film with blurry, blobby critters!
