Our 2nd Annual Auction event had the extreme misfortune to be
scheduled only three weeks after the devastating "October Surprise" snowstorm.
To say our event was under-attended would be an understatement. Those who
did come had fun, bought horses, chowed down. But attendees were few
and far between and Rivendell made less money than at last year's
inaugural event.
We all tried our darndest; Jon Summers was a
fantastic Master of Ceremonies (and he did discover that he knew several of
our participating artists) and Auctioneer Russ Scherrer was his usual manic
self, but the phrase "beating a dead horse" comes to mind.
*sigh*
Good news! Our missing photographer has been located and
his name is Michael Debo. He is busy sending me photos and I'll be posting
them soon.

Here is Kurt Walters, our People's Choice Winner and Chary L.
Robbins, our Best of Show (Judge's Choice) winner. This
photograph was taken by our Michael Debo with Chary's camera - thanks
for sending it, Chary!!!
If any of y'all who attended our little event have any
photographs to share please contact me!!!
